Kale Carrot Green Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups kale (or spinach for milder taste)
  • 1 cup carrot roughly chopped
  • 2 cups mango chunked
  • 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger or to taste
  • 1 apple cored
  • 1 banana chunked
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil

Instructions

  • Blend Chinese cabbage and water until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend again. If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more liquid base. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw in everything at once.
  • Optional: Top with chia seeds, goji berries, flax seed, hemp hearts, etc., if you like.

Notes

Use one or more frozen fruits to chill the smoothie. Or use ice cubes instead.
