Green Smoothie: Raspberry Morning Love

Rich in antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, and fiber, raspberries are a delicious fruit with many health benefits. They are definitely one of my favorites.

Ingredients

For the smoothie

  • 2 cups kale packed
  • 3 cups raspberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut water

Toppings

  • 2 tablespoons dried goji berries (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
  • 2 tablespoon unsweetened coconut flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Blend kale, coconut milk, and coconut water until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend again.
  • Optional: top with goji berries and coconut flakes if you like. Other possible toppings: cacao nibs, chia seeds, hemp hearts, etc.

Notes

  • TIP: Use one or more frozen fruit(s) to chill the smoothie. Or use ice cubes instead.
