Green Apple Smoothie
A refreshing morning drink packed with essential plant nutrients to nourish your body. I just love green smoothie for breakfast but you can also have them as a healthy mid-morning or afternoon snack.

Ingredients
- 2 cups spinach or any other green of your liking
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 apple cubed (make small cubes if you don’t have a powerful blender)
- 1 banana chunked
- 1 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons almond butter or other nut butter of your choice
Instructions
- Blend spinach, orange juice, and water until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend again. If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more liquid base. If you have a high-speed blender, blend everything in one go.
- Add superfoods - such as goji berries, chia seeds, and hemp hearts - if you like.
Notes
- Use one or more frozen fruit to chill the smoothie. Or use ice instead.
