Fruity Citrus Avocado Walnut Salad
Easy and quick, jam-packed with lots of healthy nutrients. The grapefruit is a perfect counter for the butteryness of the avocado.

Ingredients
For the dressing
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2-1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tablespoon raw sugar or honey/maple syrup
- black pepper to taste
- sea salt to taste
For the salad
- 1/2 avocado sliced or cubed
- 2 cups salad greens of your choice torn
- 1/2 orange sectioned
- 1/2 grapefruit sectioned
- 1/2 pear sliced
- 1/2 cup green grapes (preferably seedless) halved
- 2 tablespoons walnuts chopped
Instructions
- Combine the oil, vinegar, sugar, and salt to make the dressing.
- Add all salad ingredients to a large mixing bowl. Toss to combine.
- Pour over the dressing and mix gently.
Notes
- Use leftover fruits to make a delicious green smoothie for breakfast/snack.
- Take along tip: store greens on top and dressing in a separate container.
