Apple and Red Beet Smoothie
Looking for a good way to cleanse your body? This apple and red beet smoothie is packed with cleansing nutrients and health-promoting antioxidants.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup red beet (raw) chopped
- 1 apple chunked
- 1 banana chunked
- 1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
- 2 cups spinach packed
- 1 cup fresh orange juice we used blood oranges
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin coconut oil
Instructions
- Blend spinach, water, and orange juice until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend again. If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more liquid base. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw in everything at once.
- Top with superfoods if you like. I topped mine with goji berries and chia seeds.
Notes
TIP: Use one or more frozen fruit(s) to chill the smoothie. Or use ice cubes instead.
