Avocado Berry Love
I just love avocados in my morning drinks. Not only do they add some protein and healthy fats, they create the best creamy green smoothies that will fill you up until lunch.
Servings: 2
Calories: 314kcal
Ingredients
- 2 cups bok choy
- 1/2 avocado
- 2 kiwifruit
- 1.5 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 lime/lemon (use less when using lemon)
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin coconut oil
Instructions
- Blend bok choy, water, and (blood) orange juice until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend again. If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more liquid base. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw in everything at once.
- Add superfoods - such as raw cacao nibs/powder, goji berries, chia seeds - if you like.
Notes
TIP: Use one or more frozen fruit(s) to chill the smoothie. Or use ice cubes instead.
