Fish Tortillas with Spicy Yogurt Dressing
This one is for all the fish lovers out there. The fish tortillas are incredibly easy to make. I am sure the whole family will love this fishy quick dinner.

Ingredients
Fish tortillas
- 12 ounce boneless cod filet or Pollock or any other white fish filet
- 1 avocado peeled, seeded, and cubed
- 1/2 cup tomato cubed
- 1/4 cup red onion chopped
- 1.5 cup salad greens of your choice chopped, we used iceberg lettuce
- 2 tablespoons Tex Mex dried herb mix (ours is a mixture of cumin, coriander seeds, paprika, and garlic)
- 4 medium wrap or tortilla (GF If needed)
Dressing
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup plain unsweetened yogurt
- 1/2 lime or lemon juice only (use less if using lemon, ½ lime = 1 tbsp)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon dried dill
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon capers (optional) minced
- 1/2 Thai chili pepper or to taste, seeded and minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped, or cilantro to taste
- sea salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
To make the sour cream yogurt dressing
- In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream and yogurt until well combined.
- Squeeze the juice half a lime into the mixture and whisk thoroughly until creamy.
- Add all other ingredients and mix again.
- Cover and refrigerate.
To make the fish tortillas
- Heat coconut oil in a skillet over high heat. Add Tex Mex dried herb mix and cook the fish for about 5 minutes (depending on which fish you’ve used)
- Heat tortillas in a clean skillet (do not add oil or butter) or use your oven instead.
- Top the tortilla with lettuce, fish, tomato cubes, red onion, avocado cubes, parsley, and drizzle with the sour cream-yogurt dressing.
- Wrap and enjoy!
