Fish Tortillas with Spicy Yogurt Dressing
This one is for all the fish lovers out there. The fish tortillas are incredibly easy to make. I am sure the whole family will love this fishy quick dinner.

Fish tortillas
- 12 ounce boneless cod filet or Pollock or any other white fish filet
- 1 avocado peeled, seeded, and cubed
- 1/2 cup tomato cubed
- 1/4 cup red onion chopped
- 1.5 cup salad greens of your choice chopped, we used iceberg lettuce
- 2 tablespoons Tex Mex dried herb mix (ours is a mixture of cumin, coriander seeds, paprika, and garlic)
- 4 medium wrap or tortilla (GF If needed)
Dressing
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup plain unsweetened yogurt
- 1/2 lime or lemon juice only (use less if using lemon, ½ lime = 1 tbsp)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon dried dill
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon capers (optional) minced
- 1/2 Thai chili pepper or to taste, seeded and minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped, or cilantro to taste
- sea salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
To make the sour cream yogurt dressing
In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream and yogurt until well combined.
Squeeze the juice half a lime into the mixture and whisk thoroughly until creamy.
Add all other ingredients and mix again.
Cover and refrigerate.
To make the fish tortillas
Heat coconut oil in a skillet over high heat. Add Tex Mex dried herb mix and cook the fish for about 5 minutes (depending on which fish you’ve used)
Heat tortillas in a clean skillet (do not add oil or butter) or use your oven instead.
Top the tortilla with lettuce, fish, tomato cubes, red onion, avocado cubes, parsley, and drizzle with the sour cream-yogurt dressing.
Wrap and enjoy!
