Smoothies are very popular these days. They are easy to make and packed with the daily vitamins and minerals your body needs. All you need is a blender and some fresh and healthy ingredients. Are you feeling hungry and looking for a healthy snack? Or are you looking for a healthy alternative to start your day with? Look no further, here are some very delicious smoothie recipes you could give a try.

 

#1 Refreshing Sunrise Smoothie

 

Ingredients

  • 1 blood orange, peeled and  seeds removed
  • ½  mango
  • 2 passion fruits, pulp
  • ½ cup unsweetened plain yogurt or coconut yogurt for vegans
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • 2 to 3 drops vanilla essence
  • 4 ice cubes

Preparation

Blend all ingredients until you’ve got a smooth mixture and serve in a cooled glass with a slice of blood orange on the side.

#2 Mango Muesli Smoothie for Breakfast

 

Ingredients

  • ½ cup cooled almond milk
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • ½  mango
  • ¼ banana
  • 1-2 tablespoon roasted muesli
  • 3 ice cubes

Preparation

Mix all ingredients until you’ve got a smooth mixture. Pour the mixture into a cold glass and finish with some extra muesli on top of it.

 

#3 Tropical Fruit Smoothie

 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooled almond or coconut milk
  • ½ cup unsweetened plain yogurt or coconut yogurt for vegans
  • ½  banana
  • 1 strawberry
  • 4 oz pineapple
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 2 ice cubes

Preparation

Blend all ingredients until you’ve got a smooth mixture, leave out the coconut milk and the strawberry. Serve with a strawberry on the side of the glass.

#4 Tropical Tormenta Smoothie

 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooled almond or coconut milk
  • 1 kiwifruit, peeled and cut into 4 parts
  • 3 strawberries
  • 4 oz watermelon, seeds removed
  • ½ cup unsweetened plain yogurt or coconut yogurt for vegans
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 2 ice cubes

Preparation

Just blend all ingredients and serve in a cooled glass. You can serve with a small piece of watermelon or strawberry on the side of your glass

 

#5 Papaya Crumble Smoothie

 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooled almond or coconut milk
  • ½ papaya
  • ½  banana
  • ½ cup unsweetened plain yogurt or coconut yogurt for vegans
  • 50 grams roasted muesli
  • 2 drops vanilla essence
  • 3 ice cubes
  • Cinnamon or nutmeg
  • Caramel topping (optional)

Preparation

Blend all ingredients until a smooth mixture and poor in a cooled glass. Serve with some extra muesli and a bit of cinnamon on top of it.
