Hormones play a super important role in many of our body’s vital functions. They affect our mood, weight, and overall health. There are many factors that could disrupt our hormone balance. Those include stress, lack of exercise, and poor nutrition.
Many people are taking synthetic hormone supplements these days, but let me tell you, those are not needed. There are many natural ways that could help you to restore the balance and boost your personal and professional life.
If you suffer from fatigue, skin issues, weight gain, PMS, osteoporosis, altered sex drive, allergies, sleeping issues, infertility, brain fog, etc. the chances are your hormones are out of balance.
Here Are The Top 10 Tips To Keep Your Hormones In Balance
1. Avoid Refined Carbohydrates
Eliminate foods such as sugar, white rice, white bread, and white flour from your diet. The best thing is to actually avoid all sources of wheat for one month and see what happens. Many people find relief to their hormone-related symptoms by eliminating all wheat from their diet.
2. Mild Exercising
People who struggle with hormone imbalances shouldn’t exercise too intensely as it may worsen the problem. Focus on mild and relaxing exercises like walking, yoga, or swimming.
3. Avoid Exposure To Toxins As Much As Possible
Many of our beauty and household products contain chemicals known to be hormone disruptors. Those include parabens, phthalates, and BPA’s.
Although it is impossible to avoid all toxins, there are a few things you can do at home to reduce the intake drastically.
A few tips:
- Don’t use Teflon or non-stick pans for cooking
- Avoid plastic water bottles
- Do not store foods in plastic containers
- Use green, organic household products and cosmetics (or try to make your own chemical-free version)
- Buy organic foods as much as possible to avoid pesticides and GMO’s

4. De-stress And Get Your Beauty Sleep
Stress raises cortisol levels which disrupt the balance of all other hormones in your body. Moreover, stress and raised cortisol levels are closely related to weight gain, but slender people are also at risk here. Multiple studies have linked yoga and meditation with less hormonal malfunctions.
Rest is also important. While you are sleeping your body recovers from those hormone imbalances that occurred during the day. If you don’t get enough sleep hormones will build-up and cause symptoms.

Use cold-pressed virgin organic coconut oil, olive oil, or grass-fed organic ghee and avoid canola oil, margarine, and processed foods as much as possible. To restore the balance add more omega-3 rich foods to your diet. Those include eggs, oily fish, coconut oil, olive oil, algae oil, chia seeds, flax seeds, hemp seeds, and walnuts.

Too much caffeine has a major effect on your endocrine system. Caffeine raises cortisol and may slow down your thyroid.
8. Coconut Oil Or Ghee

Never thought that Ghee can help to control hormones, I know lots of youngsters hate Ghee as they feel it could make them to gain weight.
I love Ghee and coconut oil…. if you eat those in moderation, they even boost weight loss efforts by speeding up metabolism.
