Pear Citrus Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 orange peeled
  • Splash fresh lime or lemon juice
  • 3 pear cored
  • 2-3 cups kale stems removed
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk or any other (nut) milk of your choice
  • 1 banana chunked
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil

Instructions

  • Blend kale and almond milk until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend again. If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more liquid base to thin. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw in everything at once.
  • Top with superfoods - such as goji berries, chia seeds, cacao nibs or hemp hearts - if you like.
