Cleansing Green Smoothie

Refreshing and cleansing morning drink to start your day fully energized. If you love, parsley feel free to add some more.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 cups pineapple chunked
  • 1 banana chunked
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 tsp fresh grated ginger or to taste (optional)

Instructions

  • Blend greens, water, and juice until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend again. If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more liquid base. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw in everything at once.
  • Top with superfoods, such as cacao nibs, chia seeds, or goji berries, if you like

Notes

Use one or more frozen fruits to chill the smoothie.
