Celery Green Smoothie

A cleansing and refreshing morning drink. Don't let all the greens scare you away from trying this delicious drink.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups kale packed
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 banana chunked
  • 1 cup celery roughly chopped
  • 1 cup cucumber chopped
  • 1 orange or grapefruit, peeled and segmented
  • 1 cup pineapple chunked
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil

Instructions

  • Blend kale and water until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients and blend again. If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more liquid base. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw in everything at once.
  • Add superfoods such as goji berries, chia seed, and moringa powder if you like.

Notes

Use one or more frozen fruits to chill the smoothie. Or use ice cubes instead.
