Minty Chocolate Berry Smoothie

Yummy way to start the day. Even your kids will love this chocolate flavored one.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach packed
  • 1.5 cup blueberries
  • 1.5 cup strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves or to taste

Instructions

  • Blend spinach and almond milk until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend again. If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more liquid base. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw in everything at once.
  • Optional: top with superfoods - such as goji berries, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds or hemp hearts - if you like.
