Heart-warming Winter Oatmeal Bowl
Nothing better than a warm oatmeal bowl loaded with fiber and antioxidants on a cold winter day. Oatmeal bowls can be tweaked to your personal flavor. I like mine with extra cinnamon. Yum ;)

- 2 banana mashed
- 2-3 tbsps chia seeds or ground flax seeds
- 1 cup rolled oats (certified GF if needed)
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon or more to taste
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or any other milk of your choice
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup your favorite fruit berries, mango or pineapple are lovely (or a mix)
Combine mashed banana, chia seeds, oats, cinnamon, milk, and water in a bowl. Mix well, cover and refrigerate overnight.
In the morning, heat mixture in a pot over medium-high heat. When simmering, reduce heat and cook until thickened and heated through. Stir regularly.
Pour in a bowl and top with fresh fruits and anything else you like.
