- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley
- 2 apple cored and sliced
- 1 lime/lemon juice only (use less if using lemon)
- 1/4 cup unsalted almonds
- 1 banana
- 2 cups water
Blend broccoli, parsley, and water until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend again. If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more liquid base. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw in everything at once.
Optional: top with goji berries, chia seeds, coconut flakes, etc., if you like.
Use one or more frozen fruit(s) to chill the smoothie. Or use ice cubes instead.
