Make-Ahead Berry Parfait

Make your own beautiful breakfast parfaits in the evening and you’ve got a nutritious and delicious breakfast ready to go in the morning.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup plain unsweetened (coconut) yogurt or Greek yogurt for non-vegans
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats (certified GF if needed) uncooked (or steel-cut)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon or to taste (optional)
  • 2 tsps chia seeds
  • 4 tbsps unsweetened almond milk (or hazelnut, coconut, hemp milk, etc)
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup strawberries

Instructions

  • Combine the yogurt, oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, and milk.
  • Layer half of the yogurt-oat mixture in a Mason jar or container.
  • Add half the berries and layer with remaining yogurt then another layer of berries.
  • Refrigerate overnight (can be stored for up to 3 days).

Notes

  • We used fresh strawberries and raspberries straight from our garden... fresh is always best but you can also use frozen mixed berries instead.
