Tropical Pineapple Green Smoothie
Pineapples are among my favorite tropical fruits. Not only are they super juicy and yum, they are highly nutritious too. They are a great source of vitamin C, manganese, copper, vitamin B1, vitamin B6, dietary fiber, folate, pantothenic acid, among many other compounds with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

- 2 cups kale packed
- 2 cups pineapple chunked
- 1 banana chunked
- 1 kiwifruit chunked
- 2 cups water
- 2 orange
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley
Blend kale, parsley, and water until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend again. If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more liquid base to thin. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw in everything at once.
Top with chia seeds, goji berries, flax seed, hemp hearts, etc. if you like. I topped mine with desiccated coconut.
