Green Apple Smoothie
A refreshing morning drink packed with essential plant nutrients to nourish your body. I just love green smoothie for breakfast but you can also have them as a healthy mid-morning or afternoon snack.

- 2 cups spinach or any other green of your liking
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 apple cubed (make small cubes if you don’t have a powerful blender)
- 1 banana chunked
- 1 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons almond butter or other nut butter of your choice
Blend spinach, orange juice, and water until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend again. If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more liquid base. If you have a high-speed blender, blend everything in one go.
Add superfoods - such as goji berries, chia seeds, and hemp hearts - if you like.
