Refreshing Watermelon Pineapple Lemonade (Sugar Free)

Make your kid’s lemonade stall stand out with this delicious red colored hydrating watermelon pineapple lemonade.It’s super easy to make.

During summer, most watermelons are sweet enough, so the recipe doesn’t need any sugar, but I’ll show you how to make a simple raw sugar syrup to make a sugar and non-sugar variation that will rock your neighborhood… Though I think we should all promote a sugar-free lifestyle, even if you add the sugar syrup, this stuff is still so much healthier than the processed sugary drinks you buy in the supermarket.

Watermelon Pineapple Lemonade Recipe

 

Ingredients

  • ½ small sized watermelon cut into chunks (about 3 cups)
  • 2 cups of fresh pineapple chunks
  • 3 lemons (peeled)
  • Water
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves to taste (optional)

 

Directions

  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth (or add them to your juicer if you have one).
  2. Strain or sieve and pour into chilled glasses and serve over ice and mint leaves.

Simple Sugar Syrup Recipe

 

For the sweet tooth….

  1. Combine ¼ cup raw sugar (raw coconut palm sugar or raw cane sugar) and ½ cup water in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar has dissolved and allow to cool before using.
  2. Add to your lemonade while blending.
