
Homemade Pizza with Bell pepper and Broccolini
Nothing beats the flavor of homemade, right? If you have never tried to make your own pizza you will be amazed by its simplicity and flavor. No more takeaways after you tried this meal. I am sure of that!

Ingredients
For the sauce
- 3 cups tomato chopped
- 1/2 onion chopped
- 2-3 clove garlic minced
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- black pepper to taste
- sea salt to taste
For the pizza
- 1 pizza dough for 2 small pizzas (or 1 big to share) scroll down to notes if making your own
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups broccolini (or broccoli) stems and leaves removed, finely chopped
- 1 cup bell pepper (capsicum, any color) chopped
Instructions
- If making dough, do this first as it needs about 1 hour to rise.
For the sauce
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook onions for 2-3 minutes. Add garlic and cook 1 minute more. .Add tomatoes and balsamic vinegar. Season with oregano, salt, and pepper to taste. Cook until sauce-like consistency. This will take about 10 minutes. Allow to cool slightly.
For the pizza
- Preheat oven to 400°F or 200°C.
- Roll out the dough, top with sauce, cheese, and toppings.
- Cook in the oven for about 20-25 minutes or until crisp.
